Guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Saviour, and my hope is in you all day long.

Psalm 25: 5

Bible study fellowship groups

We run a Bible study fellowship group at the home of one of our lay elders in Clare on a Monday evening from 7 to 8.30 pm. It is for those who wish to improve their Bible knowledge whilst applying it to discuss key issues affecting our society today.

Ministry team

Our church is keen to encourage people to grow in their faith and develop an understanding of what God is calling them to do, whether to focus on pastoral care, music worship or leading services. Members of our congregation are encouraged to take an active role in ministry as Lay Elders, a Diocesan initiative which is a shorter training than that of Lay Readership, and which prepares members to lead services. Currently Clare has three Lay Elders.

Bookstall and library

If you wish to deepen your understanding of the Christian faith and its place in our society, or learn about key figures in Christianity then you might like to browse our bookstall. To find out more about the history of St Peter and St Paul please go into the side chapel on the right of the church where you will find a library of interesting literature.
